WHERE IN THE WORLD IS OFFICER FRIENDLY???

When I was in elementary school, the police would come to school to talk to the students.  We referred to them as "Officer Friendly".  They were someone we could look up to, someone who was there to protect us, and someone who we could count on.  Today that image is far from back then.  In Puerto Rico many people see cops as abusive, corrupt, and unintelligent.  Not all cops are this way, but unfortunately, there are quite a few rotten apples in the force giving them a bad name.  The latest case of excessive force has been the fatal shooting of a citizen trying to help the cops.

  1. 1. Do you think the officer is guilty of murder? Why or why not? Yes because other officers shouted that he wasn’t the person they were looking for. The victim was innocent.

    2. If he is found guilty of murder, what should his punishment be?
Obviously he is already fired from the police department. He has to pay his guiltiness in jail.

    3. Why do you think the officer shot the young athlete?
He did not think, he just acted and a police has to be sure first then act.

    4. What do you think will happen in this case?
He will be guilty of all charges he will go to jail.

    5. What do you think about the police force of Puerto Rico?
The Puerto Rico Police Department need more help and they need to reinforce the basic training in the academy
